Ready To Get Started?

Share some details about your business in the application form below. From there, we’ll meet for a complimentary 30-minute consultation to talk through your needs and make sure we’re a good fit.

If we decide to move forward, I’ll complete a paid assessment of your current books. You’ll receive a strategic plan outlining how to optimize your bookkeeping and move closer to your business goals. You can choose to implement these recommendations yourself, or we can begin a monthly retainer for ongoing bookkeeping services.

“I truly view Lis as a partner in my business — and can I just say, what a relief to have such an experienced partner! Her work has grown my entrepreneurial skill set and my bottom line.”

Hey Girl! I’m Lis.

And I’ve got a growing service business just like yours, so I get it. You love being an entrepreneur, but it can be lonely and stressful doing everything yourself. I can say from personal experience, outsourcing a few key functions of my business to trusted partners has been game-changing for me, and I know it will be for you, too. As your bookkeeper, I consider myself a part of your team, getting in the weeds with you on everyday business decisions like “how much should I charge?”, “how do I pay myself?”, and “can I afford this?” I’m right here with you to offer expert financial advice whenever you need it.

Answers To Your Questions

  • My done-for-you bookkeeping services are best for service providers who work alone or with a small team and are in year 2 – 5 of their business when we begin working together. I can work with clients in any industry, but my favorite clients are responsive, view our relationship as a partnership, and want a collaborative approach.

  • I work with clients from all over the U.S. I also love my locals and am always so happy when I get to work with clients in Virginia, where I live now, and in North Carolina, where I used to live.

  • No, sorry. As a bookkeeper, my role is to help you with the day-to-day finances of your business, keep you organized, and help you plan how to use your money. I am not a licensed tax accountant and cannot do your taxes for you. I can, however, collaborate with your accountant during tax season to provide documents, answer questions, and help them maximize your deductions.

  • If you apply to work with me and we seem like a good fit, the next step is to have me complete a paid assessment of your business finances. I’ll look through your real financial documents to get a sense of how things are organized, where you may be out of compliance, and to offer insights based on the business goals you shared. I’ll present my findings step-by-step, and you can choose to implement them yourself or to sign an agreement to work with me each month as your bookkeeper (yay!). Not only does the paid assessment give us both a clear idea of the work to be done, but it allows me to create an accurate quote for your monthly service fees.

Cheer Up, Buttercup

I’m about to take a major to-do off of your list. But first, let’s make sure we’ll grow well together.
